TD Autowerkes 2011 Outlaw rebuild thread!
Due to the overwhelming success of our 2010 race season, we have decided to keep the EK for next year. We realized the sport compact scene is alive and very well and know that keeping the car around will help us promote what we do!
We will be addressing some major issues which haunted us throughout the year. The wiring in the car looked like a bird's nest! Chase from Chase bays already received the old harness and will be making us a custom Mil-SPec harness with firewall connector. The car was also 155 lbs over min weight so lightweight Wilwood brakes along with Weld non-beadlocked wheels will aid in over 30lbs weight savings combined. That together with advice from MarcP will surely get the car down to 2450 or so!
ERL will be coming through again with a new fresh block to withstand another 50+ psi of torture. And Tial will also be onboard as well as Ferrea, Competition Clutch and Garrett Turbos, all of which i'd like to thank for their continued support!
We will be experimenting with the new Garrett GTX4502r which is a gt45 turbine wheel mated to a 71.8mm 11 blade GTX billet compressor wheel. That turbo takes 8-12 weeks to make so whoever wants one, needs to get their **** together!
A Racepak dash with V-net cable will also help the "Bling Factor" and help with weight as well.
GRP or BME will be contacted shortly and we will be making the switch to AL rods. and the 9:1 pistons will be ditched for something looking like a pyramid!

good to know outlaw is still gonna b competitive for 2011...looks like alot of outlaws were going to 67mm...also thats the second outlaw i hear thats gonna have high compression..whats up with that...12:1 compression on an outlaw turbo car seems high...
not if the person behind the laptap knows what they are dealing with.
there isnt much to see yet! lol
Other than a car with no motor and no wiring in it! Kinda depressing when i leave the office and see that bucket sitting in the shop!

Its nice to see some competition coming in the outlaw. I am sick of going to NJ events and seeing reynolds vs miller all the time, get up here Damien!
