Seeing white primer would turn me off no matter what it had. I'd say get a decent paint job in either the original factory color or whatever floats your boat.

With what you listed and a decent paint job, I'd pay 5K. That's just me.

I dunno man the way you advertise the car just raises a lot of red flags... The fact that the car has a new motor when the chassis only has 100k... The fact that you are running an improper tune for the car... The fact that car is primered... The fact that 3rd gear grinds when you "race"...

To me this car just screams some kids project car that was beat on and not maintained properly... I'm not trying to hate, I just think if you marketed the car a little differently you would have more success trying to sell it...

So the trans is junk, the ECU is junk and won't pass emissions in many areas, the engine has been replaced, the car has a salvage title, and it's all primered.

Yeah, you'll be lucky to get 3 grand for that POS. Good luck!

"It's pretty clean" is about the last phrase I would use to describe that...

I want some of whatever it is you're smoking.

Especially since replacing the clutch won't fix his 3rd gear.

the clutch will help his 3 gear because if the clutch is bad sometime it wont engage and it grind in gear its so rare that a manul transmission is gonna go bad

Good luck hiding a gear grind on a test drive...

For $5000-6000, you can get a fairly decent example of an EM1, with a clean title and real paint. Nobody short of an idiot would pay that money for this POS.

He would be lucky to get 3k, the only way to slightly hide the grind would be replacing the transmission fluid and let people test drive it right after he changed it so it can slightly hide the grind.

Poor car although it has potential not a lot of people have the extra $ to buy something your offering with still needs a lot of work and just because it's a si doesn't mean it's a rare car or it's worth a whole lot I'd say maybe 2,500 or 3k also And that's a maybe who knows what other surprises someone else could find out by test driving it or checking it out

I'd pay $2-3k for it. Any more is a waste for that condition.

3k if that, sounds like car is a pile.

Personaly, I would loose all interest after reading half of what you put down.

How much are you asking for the car?

How much are you asking for it? I would paint it, have the ECU retuned to run the proper motor (it will lose power and run bad on a Type R tune, because a Type R has heavier cams, and higher compression, along with a better header, intake manifold, and other things).

It's a b16. You have to hit the redline to keep up with the mom in her Tahoe next to you so you don't feel like a lesser being.

I literally laughed out loud.

Yeah, good luck with that. "Oh, don't rev it all the way up!" So what exactly do you plan to tell them when they ask why? "Oh, uhhh, ummm... "

How old are you, 16?

One of the most important things that I always do when test driving a car that has obviously been beaten on by some idiot kid is to tach it out in 2nd gear and shift to 3rd to check for grinds and clutch slippage. Anyone who has been tuning Hondas for years knows that the 3rd gear synchro is usually the first one to go in D- and B-series transmissions.

99% of the time its the synchros not the clutch, and also why would you tell the OP to not be 100% truthful when selling a car? Yet another reason hondas have a bad name
