Zajnet's Build: 88 crx dx + d15b vtec + hydro trans + prelude cluster
So here's my new toy:

Here's a random pic of the center console, it clearly needs a lot of work:

My plan is to make this car a dedicated autocross car for this summer with a naturally aspirated JDM D15B VTEC hopefully putting down somewhere around 160whp. I want to strip the car down to as close to the minimum weight as possible, which for the class I'm shooting for and my wheel size and everything should be around 1650 lbs.
I'm swapping in a 5th gen Prelude cluster because I love the clean look and I needed somewhere to connect the electronic VSS in the hydro s40 transmission to.
Pics of the Prelude cluster with my home-made conversion harness:

Over the next few days I'll be pulling the old semi-blown D15B2 and bolting up the HASport EF D-series Hydro Conversion (EFDHC) kit. I have new plugs, wires, belts, distributor, etc for a full tune-up, and the engine reportedly only has around 90k on it.
Since I'm on a budget, I just got some E-Bay headers and I'll be picking up a short-ram or cheap CAI soon.

Pic after a couple of hours of work on the dashboard area:

I mounted the fuse box just to the left of the steering column for easy access between races, just in case:

I still need to clean up the wiring and remove the far right box that's attached to the fire wall, just off of the first picture.
