So I'm going to be doing a rebuild on my d15b The soch 1.5 v-tec. Reason why is because my piston rings are bad and why not go through and rebuild it. But my question is what parts do I use? I know a lot of ppl have posted about the parts.....but every time they can't come up with an agreement on what parts to use for the rebuild. So it would he nice if some one who has actually rebuilt help me out. stamped on the block D15B not d15b2 or d15bwhatever.

 

This is the engine management and tuning forum. It's geared more toward tuning hardware & software. You may want to try the All motor or forced induction forums for better responses regarding specific engine parts selection.

No your not wrong. All I am saying is that you would probably get better answers to your question about re-building an engine in the forums designed to discuss such topics. vs asking them in the software and tuning section. Seems kind of random

 

Go with the Vitara psitons with the D15B Crower rods.
I think a guy on one of these forums sells them called "fjt" or sumthing
He also sells through ebay check there
