civic 94 brake fluid leak??
my car is leaking brake fluid from the aluminum part next to the firewall that has all the lines running through it. im sorry i dont know what its called. i dont know if i need the entire piece replaced or just the gasket in the middle? and if it is the gasket, will gasket maker be able to stop the slow leak? any help is good. thanks
its the brake proportioning valve. it regulates how much force goes to the brakes front and rear. the whole thing must be changed since there is no replaceable gasket. they are cheap from junkyards. you may be able to slop the leak by putting a oil resistant sealant on it but youll want to change it asap
