Default Liars, scammers in Spokane...BEWARE!!

Im gonna keep it kinda short and sweet, but the 2 kids i traded my car to are scammers, liars and thieves. Im sure some of you know them. On kid is named Jay, i think hes Cuban and 18-19 years old, he drives a white honda civic hatch with a gold roll cage in it and turbo k series swap. The others name is Hieu, little asian kid thats maybe 18 that ended up with my old hatch, and has the blue TSX his mommy gave him and he cut the mufflers off of it. Basicly we traded cars and they were supposed to come through on their end for money and parts. I know im as much to blame cause we didnt put anything in writing, but after the deal was done, they basicly told me to get effed. They owe me a clutch, money, b series transmission, interior parts. Everything adds up to about $1500. Ive taken it in the *** and giving up on getting my parts cause i dont have a legal leg to stand on. just giving everyone else the heads up that these kids are what ruins the scene. And im dumb for thinking i can trust someone. Just goes to show that even when your instincts seem good, you can still be wrong.

When i was disclosing everything about the car, i told them the car is kept in a heated shop, so it only has water in it. They were far more interested in the size of the turbo and werent paying attention. I also burned a chip for the tune on the car cause i always ran my tuning ECU in the car. Before i gave them the car, i tried the chip out in an ECU i had and it worked just fine.

So they went around telling people i effed them over by taking coolant out and putting water in just to screw them, and anyone who knows me or my car knows i only ever ran water in it. And that i didnt burn a chip, gave them a blank one. But the guys who retuned it were able to pull up my tune and look at it, hmmmm, weird.

So after being told for 2 weeks by Jay that Hieu was in Japan, and thats why he wasnt returning my texts to pick up parts or money. I was then told by a couple people one day Hieu was seen smashing around in my car. So i sent text out and ended up talking to the guys at RTI, who had retuned the car. They were able to pull up my map off the chip, but its weird the chip wouldnt run in the car. The day the car was at RTI being tuned, i was told to the block was cracked because i only put water in it and it was my fault the block was cracked. So i asked to see it. Jay said ok and to meet at Hieu's house. So Ryan and i drove in blizzrd conditions from stateline to northside spokane to be stood up by these to ***gots. They lied to me several times and finaly told me in text messaging i wouldnt ever see anything that i owed them and im an idiot for trusting them. They had told the guys at RTI and were laughing about the fact they had ripped me off.

So buyer beware. These are dumb *** kids that will lead you to believe they are good guys. Their con artists and liers. Theres more to the story thats about **** they did to me but dont feel like typing out the whole thing, but im sure most of you get the point. I was straight up with them and did everything legit. Anyways...thats the deal. Other people have had smaller but similar issues with these two kids.

Holy ****, I know Jay; he matches the description of how I know him. When I hung around Autozone on Division late at night, he was the one that was driving very unsafe.

I might remember Hieu as well. Is he short and skinny? I remember a Filipino looking kid with an EG hatch.

Jay drives a white EG with a gold roll cage in it, and yeah, ive heard he drives like a douche. And Hieu is a super skinny little asian kid. They both wear skinny jeans, little emo kids. Couple of butt pirates.

I'm sorry this happened. When winter is over and things heat up, hit up North Division Street at night time on weekends and you'll find him most likely next time you're in Spokanistan.

I can remember 2 counts that he does drive like an idiot.
1. From Division street
2. My friend and his GT28R'd civic beat him from a dig.

i would just gun point them and get the stuff they owe me... real talk, dudes in the West dont play when it comes to ripping people off... i had a couple of my friends gun point a guy for ripping him off when they caught him a couple months later, got all their stuff back. no problems, just a guy crying about not wanting to get shot.

i know that sounds all bad but people gotta do what they gotta do to get what's rightfully theres. i think more honda-techers should take more action instead of letting things comes to an end and giving up.

Making threads here won't do you any good...these aren't the types to really care, I'm sure.

Got to get them where it hurts...

The thread is just to make people be aware they exist with descriptions. Im not looking to get what im owed, i know that will prolly never happen. Im just wanting to let people know so they dont get the same thing I got.

This thread just goes to show the true nature of the times we live in, and the people livin in it with us. You can't trust anyone except those close to you. OP i'm sorry you got had, but you really shouldn't have put faith in people you didn't know. sorry to say this cause most of you guys on HT are cool, but I wouldn't trust any member on here to keep his word about bringing me a part, cash, or trade later after I'd already given my full portion of the deal or whatever. You never know what economic situation anyone is in, how badly they need the money, or just how shady they are. And making a post to watch out for these guys isn't really going to do much, there are hundreds of thousands of d'bag people out there waiting for someone to put their gaurds down for one second, and put your trust in them so they can screw you over.

Always organizing meets then bailing out last second.

It's the thought that counts!

No, they already had a k20 turbo hatch. I traded them a fully built AEBS sleeved, Garrett 4294 turbo'd hatch that made 721whp on 24psi.

Sorry to read about this. Sounds like a couple of twits that are in for a big fall. I knew a lot of guys like that when I was younger and now they can't stay out of prison. OP - just keep buildin' cars - but keep 'em or at least get some paperwork for your efforts.

Yeah, im tryin to not let it keep me down. I was basicly in a bad situation where i needed money asap, and my car was the only thing i had of enough value to get the amount i needed. I knew i was gonna take a huge loss on it, and im not talking about money wise, im talking just my time and effort of what i put into the car. There was over 10k just in the motor setup alone. So not only did these kids get an incerdible deal, they felt the need to twist the knife after they stabbed me.

Events are organized by the host and it doesn't matter when the guests arrive.

Sounds like a plan, brotha.
