Good start so far

Why such large tires, though? 195/55-15 is a good bit larger in diameter than stock. It makes the car ride higher and is more likely to rub, not to mention effectively lowers you final drive, and makes your speedometer read low (going faster than indicated, could be bad).

Clean rex man. I'm doing the same to my ej1, anyways, I've been installing my pic bushings as I can since it is my daily, but I'm curious how many miles you got on your bushings and how have they been holding up?

Good work man...way to save one and take care of it. Clean CRX's are harder and harder to come by in East Coast winter/salt territories. I was in LA for a while and saw clean 88-91's all over the place and thought, man these Cali people have it made compared to us east coast people who have to work 10x as hard to have a clean body.

Would've liked to see you go a different route than drag wheels but....I ain't gonna knock your efforts overall.

Looks really good so far. Keep up the hard work. I suggest you keep it for a long time. Don't sell it.

How is it with the new sound deadener? Always thought about doing that.

I love how the floor mats came out. They look oem! How did you go about getting those?

Niiice. Can you send me a link to those floormats I've been trying to source some replicas or oem but I think at this point replicas will do. I hate that noone seems to make exhausts for our cars anymore I would love a sp2

It doesnt make a huge difference. It is noticable, but its notlike riding in a bmw or anything, just a less annoying honda
Thanks. I've been thinking about doing the whole inside of the car hoping it would make it sound more "solid" if that made any sense. Every little bit helps.

Keep in mind that butyl rubber sound deadening material (what the OP appears to have) is meant more for damping low frequency vibration, such as that from a subwoofer or speakers. You need something more like a closed cell foam to really block out the higher frequency road and tire noises.

Elemental Designs makes a pretty good product - eDead V4 TekLite for $2 per square foot, order as little or as much as you need. It's a 1/4" thick closed cell foam with adhesive backing. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...products_id=55

I put 125 s.f. of the eDead 45 butyl material in my car and it didn't do jack squat. It's still loud as F in my car. Hoping I can do the TekLite stuff one day.
