I have a 1989 and a 1991 CRX Si. the 1989 steering is heavier than the 1991. is there a diference in racks from 88-89 to 90 91?

no, just the Si had a different, variable ratio.

you can adjust the feel at the bottom of the rack near the gearbox. loosen the big lock nut and tighten the 12mm nut. be prepared to do it several times to get it just right.
