Default B18C5 In a EF

Hey dose anyone in here have a C5 in there EF. If so are there any kind of things I should worry about. I alread have a b16a in there but a upgrade would be nice. Also any idea about what kind of time I would run. Thanks

The simplest way to do it, would be to get a ITR longblock and use all sensors/distributor/and the PR3/PWO with a chip. As for timeslips WGAF!

I'm looking into the same swap... I have a 90 CRX with b16 and was looking for an upgrade other than turbo, supercharger, or nitrous...

A buddy of mine just finished this swap in his ef. He used the type r long block, then got a b16a and used everything else off it. Runs really well. I think he had some big issues with the distributer, and hmmmmmm not sure what else. He ran a 13.6 on slicks with no exhaust at mission race way. He had some ECU work and probally some other little things I dont know about in there Im sure though. So that should give you an idea.

I was thinking about putting a type r longblock into my EF as well, right now I have a B17 which is OBD1. All I need is a pigtail for my ECU , right?

Yeah, those times don't sound right, maybe he had trouble? Especially on slicks.

I wonder if my times would dip if I put slicks on my d15? I'm serious. Or is it too weak?

yeah easiest would just to use b16a dist, wiring harness, tranny ecu..
but i rather would go obd 1 better programming if you're into tuning your engine...

so in that case it would be better to use the type r dist and type r ecu???
