I found some cheap power leather seats from a 1998 accord EX. Can I use them in my 98 LX that has no power seats? What would I need? Are the rails way different?

Please share what you know about power seats.

Well the mount points will be the same. I would guess that the plugs and what not are there (since they all get the same harness). You may have to trace it back and add fuses.

 

yeah you can use them no problem, but you will have to run power to them from somewhere. the plugs arent just stuffed under the carpet.

 

are you sure? is the power seats plugsnot part of themain harness? I would have thought every accord got the same wiring (cheaper for the manufactuing). Maybe not...

anyway shouldn't be a big deal. one power wire and ground it under the seat. if you wanted to get fancy you would relay it into the ingition or accessory circuit but that's really not necassary.
