Im running a similar set up other than valve spring upgrades with block stage ones, which are basically type r cams, and im making 169 hp to the wheels. If i did valve springs i would have gone bigger. If i was you i would go atleast stage 2 maybe 3.

I was leaning towards the Tuner Stage 3's as the car will see alot of strip action.... but tuners over here are behind you guys, not sure I'll get the best out of them....

The tuner's have pretty much stock primaries so you wont really gain any lows or mids over say a stock ITR cam. Only gains will be in vtec. The competition series have some pretty agressive primaries and will get you the best gains all around.

I see where your coming from, but the car is a wkend bit of fun, will be road legal but mainly used on the strip (we have a 1600cc class at my local track) and the odd track day, so I figured a bigger topend would suit, even if it means I sacrifice some low-mid power....

Maybe I should have put that in the 1st post... lol

If you want the best top end go with the comp c's. I just don't see the point in running a tuner cam in a race car.

Not really sure but I believe they are close. The blox comp c's are a copy of the skunk2 pro 3's which are slightly bigger then the Jun 3's

The blox C's are exact copies of the Jun 3's. Blox B's are exact copies of Skunk stage 2 tuner cams. The Blox HSL's are a copy of the skunk 2 stage 3 cams but I wouldn't suggest them unless you had at least 1.8L of displacement. I would also recommend supporting the company that created the designs vs stealing them, but that's up to you ultimately.

I'd love to, but money is a factor as I'm a single parent, so unless I come across the Jun 3's 2nd hand, its not an option....

I was leaning more towards the Skunk cams vs blox, than the Jun cams. I doubt I'd pay what Jun wants for those cams either but I would for Skunk.

I had blox tuner C's, and I made 216hp on a stock block gsr motor, with just top end work.

They are equivalent to jun 3's I am told.

Every car in our crew has em, all the gsr motors with stock heads, just valvetrain, cams and manifolds did at least 195hp.

I switched over to skunk2 stage 2's with my b20 build and did 243 on pump gas.

^ thats some nice numbers.... I'd hoped to get near 200whp with the b16, but doubt I will without some head work.....

The record over here for a n/a b16 is 13.5 on road tyres, thats what we would like to get near....

You have no idea what you're talking about. You'd be doing the forum a HUGE favor if you just stopped pretending like you were giving advice. Shut up.

NO and NO and NO and some more NO.
And unless you will include MY WHOLE POST where I said NOT REALLY SURE BUT I BELIEVE, which means im not 100% sure, back off tough ****. If your going to try and make me look stupid at least include all the info. What you did is pretty ****ing sorry.

Sorry I had a few numbers confused, we all aren't perfect.

Blox C's and Jun 3's are nearly identical. I screwed up on the skunks, Ill admit it, my bad. I had numbers in my head from somewhere else. But to tell me I have no idea what I'm talking about and to Shut up? Get real. Your not the camshaft God. Get over yourself.

I am building pretty much the same motor and ordered Blox C's today. Was wondering if you had any updates.

Tuner C's are a good profile for B16's with bolt ons and tuning. Good choice.

HSLs might work for you if you're willing to wind it out. I've had good results with them in 1.8 and 2L motors, but have not run them in a 1.6L. When you say 'track' do you mean the drag strip or circuit racing?
