Icon2 91 Crx Dx, mini me Issues

I've got a 91 Crx Dx that I've done a mini me (d15b7/z6) swap. Its now been sitting for a few months cause i don't know what the issue is. We had it running but it wouldn't move cause of a clutch issue. Fixed that BUT now the car won't run.

The car is getting fuel, plenty of oxygen. The distributor is getting hot BUT no spark. I did all the wiring myself(obd0-obd1, dpfi-mpfi).I've got a jumper harness connecting the obd0 converted harness to the p28 ecu. The car has been sitting at a shop and I just got done looking at the wiring under the carpet. There is a white wire with a red stripe that isn't connected to anything.

Anyone know what the &$#@ the issue is?

Pinout diagram:

On the D ECU plug, Check #9,#14,#18 pin all could be white/red. If your car is a 5 speed, then you dont need the #18 pin.

Yes z6 timing belt, obd1 conversion, mpfi conversion, z6 distributor
Pretty much just the basic b7/z6 mini me. The next thing the mechanic wants to check is the ecu (p28). I've had such a headache with this swap, it just feels my car will never run again

Anyone think of anything else?

If something is messed up with the wiring harness, is this what I should get? It doesn't say anything about the mpfi conversion but I'm guess it has it already?

i take it you have ran down the wire from distributor to ecu, also sounds dumb but check the ground on thermostat housing...

Its time consuming but checking everything related like alex14 posted will help eliminate alot... its often some small like one wire or a ground...get you a meter, get comfortable, and start the process of elimination.... there is no easy answer or way to say BAM thats it on a forum... just check it all...if your distributor is good and ecu is good... then somewhere between the two you have an issue or your ecu is missing a link..like the crank position sensor... which brings me to a good point.. which distributor are you running???

Is there any way that the Harness itself can be fried? I was told that its something that can happen
