Default No interior heat. please help

98 Honda civic hatch back
B18c engine swap.

Problem
I am getting no heat out of the vents to the interior of the car.

What have done so far

flushed the heater core
replaced int two hoses going tot he heater core

I flushed out the heater core and have a clean flow of liquid going through it. I burped the system for 30 minutes with the blower at full speed and radiator cap off with a filler hooked up to the radiator to constantly add liquid when the system is burping.

I am getting burning hot liquid to the inlet hose and hot coolant out the return. the mechanism that is hooked up to the inlet hose is open up all the way with no restriction to it at all. the heater blower is running strong throwing tons of air (cold) out the vents

Could there be a switch under the dash or something going on with the slider switch on the interior of the car on the dash which turns it to hot to cold possible not opening up something inside the car under the dash

Could there be any more switches or hoses or openings or something under the dash that could be causing this.

Any suggestions are helpful cause its cold as hell here.
Thanks guys

The mechanism that your referring to thats hooked up to the inlet hose going to the heater core is what is controlled by the temperature selecor (slide switch). Is the blower motor running? If so, do you have a decent amount of air pressure coming from the vents?

where would the mouse nest be? and the heater duct you mean the ducts leading to my vents? i am getting air through them. very mild luke warm air is coming through. should i go ahead and check the therm would that be the problem. my car after it is warmed up the gauge is sitting a little lower then the middle mark is that normal cause im not sure where the temp should be steady at.

i am getting plenty of air through the vents when i am at the setting 1 2 3 and 4 . when i have it at 4 it is blowing strong like it should be. i messed around with the slide switch and the cable is completely open.

its throwing me for a lope. could it be the therm?

the inlet hose to the heater core is burning hot but the outlet hose is warm but not as hot but im guessing thats because the fan is pulling the heat off the core and thats why

If the fan was pulling the heat off the heater core you should have heat. Did the car sit for any length of time? I would lean toward a bad heater core.

That's normal, so the thermostat is likely fine.

^This sounds like a bad heater core.

RON to be able to get to the heater duct or blower outlet im gonna have to take my whole dash out to get to all the interior parts right? to be honest im not exactly sure where these two are located either under the dash on somewhere down by the passenger side

RON even if i flushed the heater core out and got a steady flow of liquid through it it could still be the heater core. how does the heater core still go bad if it has flow through it?

there was a steady amount of fluid coming out no stops or clogs it looked like or like someone was turning the hose on and off or adjusting the flow going in . im just trying to figure out if theres a way to tell if its the heater core or not cause i just looked it up and its 140 bucks. just wanna make sure thats it before i go ahead and buy it ya know.

When you push the dash heater lever from cold to hot and then back to cold again, does the heater valve on the firewall open and close fully?

When the dash lever is pushed back and forth, air mix doors within the heater assembly should open and close to allow or prevent air flow through the heater core. Are these doors stuck in the closed position?

Yes when I change the degree temp I hear the doors open ad close and can feel a difference in the temp. I haven't checked to see if the cable under the engine bay is completely opening and closing when I change the temp in the cabin. I know I pulled the cable all the way out in the engine bay and that it is fully open. I might ditch the control and run the hose straight to the heater core to check if that might have a clog in it or not properly operating
