i got a question on retainers im building my layds 4dr with lsv set up i just got some inner springs the dude ended up hooking me. but the guy who gave me a set of retainers and springs to me probably didnt know what he had i assume. any who the springs are blue and yellow striked on spring and the retainers had no dots and where lighter then my stock b16 i had. how can i tell if their real itr's? they weight 14.5 grams and b16 i think weight at 22 grams or something.i got a set of gsr and they look the same and weigh the same too, how much do itr really weigh and if they have they dots. i know for sure they are not ls non v's i got a set of those and dont even loook the same and valve hole is alot bigger too so i they not ls. any info would help thanks

14765-P30-000 is the part number for b16a/b18c1/c5...all the same. Does anybody search any more...found that in like 2 mins.

i aint lazy and their not the same itr are lighter then gsr and b16 b17 they weigh less and are stronger material so i heard. part numbers in my world dont mean anything its just a number for stocking. i actually beleive that itr are lighter and balanenced rather then the other retainers. for one gsr should not rev past 8200 with stock retainers the only reason b16 do is cuase they share same retainer as a b16. what you mean new gen of kidds ive been in the game since 98 son i was 12 already swaping an itr motor in 95 hatch with cuz showed me what i know today. i dont know but back then itr motor was the one to have plus they werent alot of companys like their are today.

stock ones weight 13.5 they are all the same look near the bottom for B-series DOHC VTEC
they are the SAME NOTHING IS DIFFERENT! the reason why you change them out it because they can't take the higher lifts not RPMs

I called the acura dealership down the street to varify that 14765-P30-000 is used on the type RRRRR and gsr and it is. I went out of my way to give you and answer, and you come back and say part numbers don't matter and they are different. They're not, you are wrong, get over it.
