Default Transmission whine 2010 LX

Does any one else have a 2010 LX and notice a pronounced whine when leaving from a stop? I bought the car new and it has done it since new. I was
going to take it to the Dealer but did not want to waste an afternoon with a "Can't find anything wrong" response.

I have owned several Hondas over the years but never one with an Automatic, so maybe this whine is normal?

I don't have 2010 but 08 LX , there is a slight gear whine (I would say normal) . That said is your whine only in certain gears and does it whine in park/neutral ?

It is most pronounced in 1st and 2nd. I hardly hear it in the higher gears, although the road noise may be drowning out the whine.

ok, just make sure there no bad whine in park. the PS pump makes slight whine but there a TBS out for bad O -ring that makes it whine more. There is also a balance shaft gear whine TBS, if this is heard it sounds like a turbo type whine at 3000-4500 rpm .Both of these if you had them would be heard in park, hood up .

Your probably hearing the slight PS whine with transmission gear whine , mine does that an its normal .

In my 2006 Accord LX-P I used to have a slight "whine". I got it checked out and that was just the normal noise. Now I have a 08 Accord EX-L v6 with no "whine". I would say if the problem continues than definitely take it to the dealer.

I have 2010 CT AWD and it has a severe whine on decel at 55 mph to 50 mph.

Can hear it with radio on

I have had the dealer "Can't find anything wrong" response.
