Default h22a manual - f20b auto interchangeable?

I know the F20b and H22a parts are interchangeable but just wanted to query about whether or not a dohc vtec h22a(5speed) complete head can be mounted on to an dohc vtec F20b(auto/tiptronic) block? Or would i have to convert to the 5 speed tranny first? And also which h22 would be the best choice, SH, non-SH, etc. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know if the F20B DOHC VTEC head will bolt up to the H22A block.

The H22A non SH will be your best bet because it doesn't have an ATTS tranny(M2U4) like the SH model H22s. Reason is its too heavy and no one knows how to hook it up to make it work.
