Default How to get rid of EVAP code (99' EM1)...?

I have a 99 civic si with 150k miles, car runs great and still gets good gas mileage but I have had a check engine code for the EVAP canister for a few months now and I need to pass inspection soon.......anybody know if or how I can get rid of this code, other than spending $300 on a new evap canister from the dealer?

- I already got a new gas cap
- I always reset the battery and the code stays off for about 50 miles, then comes back on....
- I was told that the charcoal/evap canister is prolly plugged and needs to be replaced.....

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you

You need to post the specific OBDII code.
