Yes^ after about 450 your more likely to detonate. I think there has been a few people close to 600 on pump gas but it's not worth the risk.

i would stay between 450-500 on pump, sure u can do more but safe issue comes into play. im at 482 on 93 and 771 on Q16, if u have e85 by u local run it, if not run q16.

I'd say 490-550whp I would use 110-112 octane. 550-750whp c16. 750+whp I would use q16. E85 can go anywhere

pump down here is 95. ive done 500s on 100. thats the most.

e85 or c16 FTW!

TQ is more the concern than WHP as far as fuel... Anyways, Ya I got to around 520WHP at 385 tq on 92 and that was plenty for me. Last motor went 3 years at that level beaten to hell....

I used to run TRICK "114" as its very readily available for me, but after doing some research to see if the VP C16 was all hype, I decided to try it. Definately not hype. C16 is a very very good fuel that exceeded my expectations for sure. I feel confident saying its better than other fuels Ive used.

Currently:
Pump 92 520/385
C16 750/575

I've always been around the 430ish mark on pump gas (93) but in 2011 thinking about running more psi on pump.

C16 for high boost. Love the smell too

What's q16 or vp import like on aluminium parts, I know it's oxygenated so does it corrode injectors, fuel rail, tank etc?

I know here locally c16 is insanely expensive. 75 bucks for a 5 gallon drum, you might be able to find it online in a 55 gallon drum for a better price ($ per gallon wise).

75 for 5 isnt too bad, you are not going to get it for much cheaper than that, especially at the track

if you leave it for long periods of time without running the engine maybe can corrode the tank.
