We have a 1997 Civic Ex coupe for sale as a parts car. There are several problems with the car which led us to replacing it, as it was used as a daily driver.

The problems are:

-Spun rod bearing (at least one). When it became evident we stopped driving the car. There are tiny metal shavings in the oil on the dip stick.
-Fuel tank emits fuel smell when filled above half full.
-A/C compressor is not working, never diagnosed why.
-The motor mount on the driver's side of the engine has been welded to the body. When it was removed to replace the a/c belt, the threaded part of the body pulled out (performed at shop). They welded the mount back to the body to hold it on.

The car is not 100% stock. These are the mods:

-AEM short ram intake (Removed, still have)
-Megan 4-2-1 header (SOLD)
-Apex'i World Sport 2 exhaust (SOLD)
-Tein Basic coilovers (I believe the perches are frozen to the shock/strut body)
-Powder coated valve cover (red with exposed HONDA lettering)
-GSR Fat Five rims (will be listed as a trade+cash in another thread) with decent tires

Price is $650 (to be reduced if rims are sold separately) or best offer. It needs to be moved by flat bed or tow.
