brake specialists--quick question on e brake cables with rear rotors?

Default brake specialists--quick question on e brake cables with rear rotors?

if i have no fluid in the lines it won;t squeeze the caliper right?

doesnt matter about the fluid. the ebrake is completely mechanical and doesnt rely on the hydraulics, making it independent.

and why isnt this in tech? its a valid question, but i just dont want to dilute the content of this forum.
