What Springs go where??
Ok i have a set of Eiback springs (pro-kit) and i got them from my brother. I have no idea which is the front and which is the rear. Two shocks have number 156831 and the other 2 have 159114. I have had no luck searching these numbers. Also i noticed 2 of the springs have a flat top (or bottom) where the end of the coil instead of round is flat at the end. Does anyone know which goes where??
it should be obvious looking at them when the car is apart. if you have two flat coils and two plain coils. put the plain coils where the plain coils you took off came from and the flat one where flat were. also, the higher spring rate goes in front. you could either eyeball which is stiffer or push down on them if you don't know what you're looking for
I dont plan on disassembling the factory stuff. I have all new parts and will be "plug and playing" the swap if that makes sense. My new shocks and springs will be all assembled and ready to put on before i even take the other ones off.

All 4 springs should have a flattened coil at one end where they fit into the top hat.
Generally the shorter spring goes in the rear, longer up front.

Ok so i looked and 2 of the springs def do not have flat spots on either side. i am at work now but from what i can recall they were the rears. The 2 shocks were about a half coil shorter than the other 2 so i am assuming those are the rears?
