YS1 tranny, what year clutch do i use?
yea all b series clutches are the same the only difference are the throw out bearings the lil ear things on the throw out bearing that slide onto the fork are different
ok right on, i was just asking because i heard the YS1 has different splines or something. thanks man
also do you know if the 91 civic si short ram intake fits under the hood with the b16?

The YS1 will use any 92-01 B series clutch
The 90-91 uses a different pressure plate, so it's a different part number for the clutch kit
Correct on the misinformation. 90-91 (and other single letter-1 cable transmissions) uses a small spline transmission, YS1 is large spline. Flywheel, clutch disc, pilot bearing, and pressure plate are interchangeable between large spline transmissions. The difference is cable uses a cable TOB and hydro uses a hydro TOB.

Thanks for the info. I do have a YS1 trans on my engine is it a true XSi engine. It does not have a LSD. I was told there is a way to put a helical into a NON lsd Gear box. IDK sounds crazy. I do want LSD performance. with out trying to find the same 1300 or $1400 Cable LSD.
Also i did do a brief search before on Ebay for b16a clutches and flywheel kits.
I seen things like XTD, exedy, and other brands. There are diffrent type kits for diffrent applications. I was intrested in like a 8lb flywheel and was wondering if something like that would be worth it. I did do some engine work, Have a CTR pulley, and would like to further lighten the rotating mass a little more. Wasnt sure if the thing would take away from any TQ measures. I expirenced a civic with alot of work and the guy emphasised his light weight rotating mass as the RPM climbed.

You can use any clutch disc and pressure plate from a 92-01. You need to make sure to get the clutch release bearing for a 92-93 Integra as they are specific to the YS1.
Yes I have the same situation! I have a B16A motor w/ a YS1 tranny( don't ask me which YS1 it is Bc I don't know) and I need to buy a clutch for it! Do I jus buy a clutch kit for a 92-01 integra and then get a seperate clutch release bearing? Help
this is what i use in all my three YS1 cable tranny's. comes with all you need. disc, p.plate, lightened flywheel, bearing, alignment tool.
