90 crx si seats in 89 dx hatch
i don't think they work, my 91 hatch SI seats would not work in a 88 HF crx. the seat brackets MIGHT bolt up, it is odd for honda to change parts between similar cars and trim levels.
You have to do something custom they will not work as they sit. Only one hole will line up. You have to do some crazy brackets or drill holes through the floor or mess around alot with the stock rails on each seat. Its alot easier to just try to find 89 seats. Its a pain in the rear but can be done. I am waiting for some myself.

i did it 91 si seats in a 88 hf..
that bump on the floor needs to be cut or pounded down...
then a bracket on the back for the new seats...
the 90-91 seats have longer mounting points...
the bump is too close you can move the bump back if you can weld..
only the inner rail doesn't fit..
and no the seat rails can't be switched..

They can be switched a guy I met took his 88 rails off his old seats(by force) and some how mounted them to 92 civic seats. I forgot how he did it, but it worked looked nice.
what if i drilled new holes in the si seats to properly mount them?? would they work then and will i have any problems later on
