92cx H22A Dragon intereor! +10hp
Hey guys, My civic interior was originally grey, I wanted black, so I used duplicolor sem landau black.. works great by the way.
Then I found some fabric at the fabric store, wrapped the EG doors the removable panel and got some black fabric, 3 years went by.. I needed a drastic change.. I was browsing some forum and found some fabric that had dragons on it, and since dragons are like... at least good for +10hp I ordered 4 yards.
Old photos and new photos.
Comments welcome!
I had to be different.
Fyi the Fabric is called "Alexander Henry - Tatsu" It's from 2006 not a whole lot of places have this, this ... designer also has other Asian themed fabrics as well, although id rather find some Japanese style fabric rather then Chinese ....anyway moving on.

Not that hard, just need to use the 3m super 90, In previous attempts using it have been hard, basically you wait until the glue doesn't lift off your part when you put a finger in it... rather then it being sticky when you attach 2 parts together.. fail on my end.
Although I was bored today and started going nuts with the fabric.
At least my civic has +14 ability to fend off dragons and ninjas.
looks good how hard was it to have the fabric actually stick on? did you use a glue of some sort

yeah, i'm thinking about doing a similar setup with the gauges on my car, just got to figure out all the wiring and get home to do it. I've been in japan for 2 years so I'm not very up on the "trends" so its different for me I guess lol
As for trends, I really could personally give a hoot. I have always done my own thing.
As for the gauges, apparently those style are the only ones everyone else likes heh.
the wiring ... well I sorta redid everything so its not plug and play.. Although since the engine is swapped by myself, I had the advantage of having a spare D15z8 pos leftover and I ended up using the distributor 10pin connectors as the harness for my gauges.
I ended up making the gauge holder thing out of 1/2 inch acrylic.. a bit of overkill but, its designed so it fits in an oem hole without modification to the front plastic piece or the rear area inside the dash.

Thanks HondaTom87..
I should post photos of exactly how I built it if someone wants to copy me.
Basically I sat in my car for a couple hours with a piece of plastic with my tape measure.
I'll check your build out.
--Creative choice for interior! Its crazy.
I tend to make a lot of stuff design stuff cleanly rather then find out what someone else does and copy it, like making shift ***** on the lathe!

I must say i have been looking on how to refab my whole interior, and seeing this makes me want to grab some fabric and and do it now even tho i dont know how to properly haha. Looks very nice and professional and clean like oem.
well, the headliner def takes 2 people to do.. even the door panels.
The A pillars can be done with 1 person just make sure you stretch your fabric, sometimes fabric stretches one way better then the other, make sure you test this when you dive in.
There isn't a whole lot of stuff other then the things I coated with dragons! "haha" that would work very well.
make sure you leave enough room to pull the fabric behind the items you intend on wrapping so you can hide it behind the doors..
don't get discouraged if it doesn't turn out right the first time. that 3m glue works great, it is expensive, I think i bought 4 cans at 13 bucks a can do do all this.
Just experiment.
And thanks for the comments.
