Default Spam In My Rice, Jank In My Bay.

i just bought a 90si today. im glad i can actually post in this section again. the 92-00 section is whack.

im am the 3rd owner, this car is really really mint. the factory d16a6 motor was replaced by the first owner for a zc with 30k on it. it ran fine until the swap.

i tried 3 different dizzys and 2 main relays. there is bk7re's in there (ok condition). newish ngk spark plug wires. it seems like the motor dont have compression. i re-torqued the head. i took out each spark plug at a time and put my hand over the spark plug hole. didn't feel no air (hand didn't budge)

heres a little video of me trying to start it. (sorry for the quality of my iphone4)

i have to agree with you there, it deff. sounds like you have really low compression. best thing to do is to perform a cylinder leak down test. was the car running for the second owner at all? or did they give up on it and sell it to you?

Okay well I'm still confused because of the lack of compression when i take out the spark plugs.
I took out the motor to clean the engine bay and I found out I was in fact missing the tranny ground.

since its out of the car do a leak down test it will be better to pin point where/if there is a leak. but i am sure your compression is fine. i am also sure you also missed another ground. once you get it back in there CHECK ALL OF THEM. Its funny how it sounds like that, i did my head gasket and put arp head studs into my b16 before i swapped it in and i was freaking out that something was wrong cause it sounded like that. but then when i rechecked everything i found what the problem was.
