Price: $1,000 O.B.O.
Interior: grey (only the '95 came with grey interior with white exterior)
Exterior: white
Engine/Trans: EX engine with DX ecu. passes smog with flying colors. A/T transmission.
good:
runs awesome. i've driven it to LA for work with no issues and 36mpg. just took it to LA this past Saturday. runs like a champ.
cup holder WORKS!
A/T so you can cruise and eat/drink while you drive. LOL
front tires have little miles on them.
engine has been swapped. i don't know how many miles are on it, but it's far less than the chassis. compression is perfect. drive it hard as you like. the car is faster than our '98 EX with a 5-spd. dunno why. the engine MAY have a cam in it. i didn't ask when i bought the engine. it just runs really well.
everything works: heat, A/C, turn signals, climate controls, speedo, fuel gauge, temp gauge, windshield washers/wipers, windows, lights, has all three mirrors, etc. try finding that in a cheap civic!
no coolant/oil/other fluid leaks on engine.
transmission drives and shifts perfectly.
GSR armrest (no. it doesn't match up perfectly to the center console, but you can rest your arm on it and store stuff in it without it moving around).
bad:
missing a lug nut.
right, rear shock needs to be replaced.
right side tie rod has made noise since i bought the car. there is a bit of play that you can hear once in a while, but does not affect alignment or driving. it just makes intermittent noise.
driver seat has a tear, but there are covers on both front seats.
paint isn't very good, but is intact.
damage to right rear of car (see pictures).
one crack on front bumper cover, under the headlight (driver's side).
engine is a single cam/vtec, but you will need a vtec ECU and wire the solenoid to make vtec work. or, just leave it and drive it like have. up to you.
carpet is pretty dirty: it's been used as a work car, so i never bothered to clean it.
trunk has no carpet, tire cover, spare, jack, or wrenches.
two rear tires have plenty of tread but don't match the fronts and are kinda old. i'd recommend replacing.
i think that's it. price is $1,000 O.B.O. if you want a pretty car to fix up, this is NOT it, unless you do your own body work. if you need a reliable car that is good on gas and don't care what it looks like, this will be perfect for you. car will be smogged upon purchase.
