What to do in north Florida
Next Weds, my buddy and I will be trailering our bikes down to Jacksonville and 'putt' around for a few days.
I figure one day we can hit the gulf coast - another day down the coast towards Miami (but probably not making it all the way down there).
I was thinking maybe make it up to Savannah one day?
If anyone wants to meet up, lemme know.

i live in daytona currently but im from jacksonville, they have a bike night almost every night somewhere.... i think theres info on racejax.com -- check it out
i believe thurday nights at hooters(or some restaurant like it) is bike night. its by "tinseltown" lots of stretched bikes and idiots banging off the rev limiters, but some ok people. Jax really has no good riding.
Nope, got back the 19th. I guess I better show some pictures:
Leaving Northern VA:

Intracoastal Waterway:

Somewhere between St Augustine and Flagler:

My buddy Toshi and I in Marineland (I'm on the right):

Popo in Flagler:

San Marco:

Starting off St Augustine's @ JP Henley's:

Keeping it going @ Meehan's:

MPG in the SC'd Taco:

It was a great trip, just to get out of the cold and to be able to ride again. We went as far as Daytona, but didn't really dig that area at all. Flagler Beach (during the day), and St Augustine (during the night) were the highlights.
14 hours one-way.

Oh, and in the first pic - you'll see that the way I tied down the RC wasn't the greatest of thinking. The pipes scratched the swing arm a bit.
