I have searched and have found nothing pertaining to this topic.

I have a 93 integra with a jdm gsr motor in it. I am passed visual for bar but I am failing real bad with Emissions. I have another post somewhere on here and everyone was telling me to replace my cat because thats what a few people did and it worked out for them.

My cat after thinking about it has had coolant ran through it so it is trash.

I am trying to get another one but everything i search says to be "California approved" but i dont see "50 state legal" and or a Carb E0 #.

Anyways my point is does anyone know where i can get an aftermarket one (magnaflow etc.)

I currently have a magnaflow but after all my research i am not sure that it is cali legal.



I have also been told that I should use a 94 Gs-R cat since that is the motor I am going to use.


Also I have called the dealer and the cat's for 93 integra's have been discontiuned and I really dont want to spend 700$ on a OEM one.

 

I have never been to s smog place where they checked the cat, they just look to see if it's there. I've have aftermarket cats installed and never have had a probelm.

Yes thats true they do have a universal one. I would like to try and get a direct fit first if possible. Dont really want to get it all welded and stuff. . .

You dont need a CARB approved cat for your car. Kragens and Pepboys carry Magnaflow universal cats for your car.
