Icon6 Code shows TPS sensor what do I do?

I just bought my aunts 88 EF automatic as a commuter. She said it kept overheating and she couldnt register it because the check engine light came on. The over heating part seems to be a leak somewhere easy fix more worried about what the code reads. The red dot on the ECU is blinking it blinks 7 times no long blink. This is the TPS sensor right. I also believe its throttle position sensor because when I start the car the check engine light does not come on. After giving it gas it feels like it drops low on RPM's and then stays low (car shakes does not fee like its idling smoothly) then check engine light comes on and stays on until i shut car off and process happens again. What do I do to fix this? should I replace the TPS sensor or is it an idle adjustment that I can do? Please Help!!!!
