when i turn my steering wheel all the way to the direction i want to turn in, it will make a repeating clicking noise. both front cv boots were changed... what could it be? i have a 92 accord ex 4dr.

 

i had a similar problem. it is from a bent dust shield due to lowering.

 

Does the noise only happen on acceleration?? Turning which direction? If you just replaced the boot, the joint probably was already damaged. I bet you need an axle.

i think its right but not 100% sure, its not really loud but i didnt really think much of it. i will have a friend mechanic put it on the lift tuesday since im getting the valve cover changed from a stripped screw, but i hope its safe now that i hear it could be a bad axel!

 

I replaced 2 bad joints when I did my swap. Ugh.

 

god im really sick of this car, i put WAY too much money into it already just to make it run properly.. next car i get will be new.

 

Come on! A rebuilt axle is only $50.00!!! It's just too common to "get something new". Easy fix man.
