Need Advice on 1998-2002 Accord V6
I always been a fan of these cars, but turned off by the lack of a manual v6 trim.
My first car was a 2001 Honda Civic EX (7thg)
Second car was a 2007 Honda Civic SI (repo)
Im 23 now and kinda want something with a little more muscle and a little more class.
Im saving up now and should be ready for purchase by the beginning of next yaer.
I know that you can take a CL type S trans and swap it on the aforementioned Accord.
My questions are:
Are there any other transmissions I can put on that model Accord?
Are CL Type S Manual Transmission as rare as my recent search has led me to believe?
Can you point me to a bank of info on this topic?
Thanks

Most guys, if they want a manual V6 in this Accord, just swap the whole 3.2 V6 from the Acura CL Type-S with it's 6 speed. -RedneckDave- (Moderator) would be one such person.
Or... you could buy said car that already has that drivetrain in it.
As far as the chances of getting your hands on said drivetrain, it varies by location. As you said though, they aren't going to be that plentiful on average. Price varies too, but I wouldn't expect it to be cheap.
