Ground control spring rates for 96 hatchback
I have a 96 civic hatchback with 100lbs in the trunk(lol i love car audio)
It is strictly for daily driven. I love a comfy ride. There are a lot of potholes , speedbumps, and driveways in my neighborhood
I have Koni Yellow shocks
Planning to lower my car 2-2.5 inches
Are 340F/250R spring rates going to be too soft?
I can get them brand new on eBay for 310 shipped

Those rates are a bit soft for any kind of performance driving. thats very similar to the H&R sport springs which I have. The added weight in back will exaggerate the soft springs. I would suggest at least 400F 300R. Give GC a call too they will help you.
with that amount of lowering and subs in the trunk you'll want to go somewhere around 450/400 or 450/450
340/250 is WAY too soft to be down 2.5" you'll put the oil pan in the highway

I ran 450f/400r in a crx for years on all types of shitty roads and I was comfy...but everyones got different opinions. I wouldnt go less then 350f/r
