We are going to be holding a 2-Day Sport Compact event at MIR on August 6-7, 2011. This will be a new 2-Day event. We will have more details on the event soon. But wanted some help from honda-tech.com on picking a name for the event.

I like the name "Shakedown" that E-Town has for their big Outlaw event, so I am hoping to find a name similiar to that. Any good ideas?

The event's racing structure will follow the classes that we had this year. I am working to try to put together an event similiar to the World Cup Finals, but this event will be imports only (The domestics are running their series during the year and we want to keep the WCF unique to itself.)

The name could be one word or two words... Post up ideas (as many different names as you can think of) I am trying to capture the younger generation with this name too for fans in the stands.

Sport Compact
"XXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

"Armageddon"

 

just say anything JDM.. that gets the younger scene's panties all wet.

MIR will only have 2 Import events in 2011, this event on Aug 6-7, 2011 and the WCF on Nov 5-6, 2011.

We would rather do 2 really good events and then start expanding after that. That way we can concentrate on those events and make them even bigger.

We have lots of ideas for the Aug 6-7 event!

We are going to run qualifying into the night on Saturday night and have a Sat night cruise and bikini contest. Lots of focus on Sat night.

What ever happened to something simple like Sport Compact Shootout? I like anything with the term "Grudge" in it. Sport Compact Grudge Weekend.
