2000 Accord window will not completely roll up
The passenger side power window on my 2000 Accord coupe rolls up and down perfectly until it reaches the last 2 or 3 centimeters then it will make a continuous loud banging noise as it tries to roll up completely only to fall back down a few CM for as long as I hold the up switch on the window.
My door lock also refuses to lock on the same door and I believe these problems are related because they both began at the same time. The lock will not move down when I press lock on remote, door, or even when I try to push the button down; it feels as if it is jammed.
Also, will my stock car alarm go off if someone opens the door after I attempted to lock it? It is late and I am afraid to test it.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

the pivot point on the primary arm of the regulator is prone to failure (i've replaced both on my '01 coupe due to this issue alone). it allows slack in the regulator which explains why it moves up and down fine but won't go all the way up. it is also possible that you have some loose mount bolts too, causing the banging sound, but i can't think how it could be related to your door lock problem.
...and if the little red 'security' light is blinking near the door lock pin, and someone unlocks it with the pin through the window, the alarm will go off! ...my wife has a habit of locking the car with the windows open when it's in the driveway
. but if you use the power door lock switch instead.. no problem.
whatever the problem is though you'll need to pull the door panel off. it's easy.
