so i was diriving yesterday on the freeway yesterday when all of a sudden i heard some loud scrapping and thought "damn someones tranny is chet with all that noise." after a while i noticed the noise was still there, sorta following me and then realized it was me. i didnt sstop because i was in a hurry to get somewhere and drove for a good half hour before finally getting off and stopping at a red light. after i took off i noticed it sounded like my tire was having sex with something, the sound of skin slapping skin and was like damn a flat? sure doesnt feel like one. i finally did stop to find out the splash shield had become lose and bent backwards into the tire and was scrapping all that time between the tire and floor. so much for my recently bought splash shield. i knew i should have used new fender clips.
