Icon2 Ngk wideband with Ectune

Hey guys,

I want to hook my NGK wideband up at the weekend and just want to go over it with you guys. Is this correct ? I want to run it though ELD D14 so i need to cut D14 and hook up one of the wideband output wires up to it. Also i need to cut resistors r136 & r138 to get a better reading and finally tune the wideband to software correction table.

I have something else whats bothering me about the wideband output, theres two wires there for the output if i attatch the one to d14 do i need to do anything with the other ?

Thank you for your time
Richard

Instead of just cutting R136 & R138 out you can replace them both with 1MOhm resistors.

As for the other wire, it can be capped and left disconnected.

ELD is pin D10 on OBD1 ecus. D14 is your narrowband O2 signal. run the wideband output on the ngk to d10 and the narrowband to d14. then you can run the ecu in closed loop if you want. or you can just run wideband to D10 and leave the other wire disconnected. (ecu put in open loop)

Didn't notice that error in the OPs original post, good catch.....

Also with eCtune you can enable the 0-5v wideband signal from the modified ELD circuit to be used as the closed loop input.
