Default d15b7 melted timing cover

im swapping a d series back into my 91 dx to pass emissions testing cause the b16 that i had in there was making it fail. i recently bought a d15b7 from a guy that pulled it from his 93 dx coupe. not bad shape for 150 bucks...least i thought. upon takin it apart i see the inner timing cover has melted to the block! i didnt see this till i got it home..doh. well i did a comp. check and 3 of the cylinders are round 130 psi but cyl 4 is 115. now the guy says motor ran fine for him before he swapped it for a b series. im thinking the damn thing overheated big time to melt that damn cover. should i give it a try and see what she does?

seems like it must have gotten pretty hot. maybe you get lucky and it will run long enough to pass inspection.
