Default lights shut off

All the lights on my 91 Si hatch shut off when it gets to about 105-110MPH. we have to turn on the high beams to get them to stay on or turn back on at that speed. Does anybuddy have any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

What does it matter where I was going that fast. I just want to figure out what would cause the lights to shut off.

ya but he's there to entertain the *** out of the rest of us who do.

It's doubtful it's anything other than a socket/plug physically rattling out of place or something stupid like that. Do they turn back on once you hit a higher speed? Do they turn back on once you lower your speed? or what.?

responsible people like myself dont come on this forum to ask idiotic questions to doing idiotic unsafe speeds on our public highways which leads me to believe your a little speed ricer.

as stated before just unbuckle your seat belt next time at night doing your 100+mph and hopefully you fly off a cliff and take your own life and not someone elses with your stupid decisions.

one less street racer in this society is good news to me.

for sure.

as to the question, there would be nothing in the electrical system that is making your lights turn off that i am aware of. if at all possible you should just try to slow down, then your lights will come back on.

ok ill try and give you a serious respond... instead of talking about you going fast... I would start with feeling if the actual light switch gets hot if so then it might have a short in it. if not i would check the wiring to the lights.

Other than this the only other way is to take the tires off and go 110 and play under the hood wiggling wires. <------ DO NOT TRY THIS

All check out the light switch. The wiring looks good but all check it again.
