88 Civic Dx CV Axle Spline Count?!

I have a 1988 Honda Civic DX Sedan. I went to an auto parts store for a new CV Axle, and the guy who works there asked me if i needed the 23 Spline or the 26 Spline. What is the spline count for an 88 civic?

My 91 DX has 26 spline axles. Std. and HF have 23, DX and SI have 26.
