do your b-series/ef 60a mounts vibrate your car
So I currently have some billet Arizona Race and Machine motor mounts keeping the b18 in my 91 civic hatch. They are the street/race, 70a durometer mounts and they make my car vibrate quite a bit.
My question is, for those who have the Hasport Street, 60a durometer, b-series motor mounts, do they make your 88-91 civic or crx rattle? Is it even close to like stock as far as vibration goes?
I'm thinking of switching the 70a mounts to the Hasport 60a mounts in hopes of reducing vibration but I'm not sure if it's worth it...
Thanks

probably wont make too much of a differance, just the desine of the solid mount you are going to get more vibration than the stock desine with all of the air gap that they have
its a solid mount..more rigid..less flexible..more vibrations felt. my b series hasports are noticably louder on my swapped 91 dx while idling than the stock mounts on my d series hatch
I have the street mounts. It's not close to stock at all, although it's only at idle and it doesn't bother me but it's enough for my girlfriend to not ride in it, she thinks its 'unsafe'. :-)
hah! my gf complains everytime i tell her we're taking the honda... thats another reason i'm trying to make it more civil. I guess I can't get away from the vibrations then...
I wonder if a rear oem da mount can be easily modified to work on the civic chassis. i bet that would help a bit

just make the gf drive...? lol my gf has no complaints at all. she could care less. although she did freak when i raced a nissan leaving walmart. she has a warrant and was afraid wed get pulled over
mine give my car quite a bit of vibration but i got used to it. when i go in other peoples cars im always like wow this thing idles smooth haha. but its nothing crazy like to the point where people dont want to drive in my car
What about Innovative 60A street? is there any difference?
or what u suggest I'm looking for something can hold my boosted B16 without vibs, my OEM mounts now is damage, i hate the vibs at idle, haha my GF thinks its not safe too, can't imagine it with Hasport or Innovative mounts, also i was thinking about Innovative traction bar with this DA front mount!!! is it worth it?

60a billet mounts are 60a billet mounts... i dont think it matters who makes them.
So yes i would consider innovative if 60a were easier on the car
although i dont see how a traction bar would reduce the vibrations an oem front mount prbably would if it would fit... but i'm pretty sure that mod isn't reasonable hence all the aftermarket mounts. would be nice if it was easy and someone had done it.

I use innovative's old steel mounts with the red street inserts and their traction bar. no vibration issues. nothing rattles

well i guess that u have point of view and maybe u r correct, it has a bracket but it's a steel mount, it should fit, I use my turbo EF as a daily driver, I don't want to hate it, and if my gf didn't like it I will change to 70a or higher and also i will change my gf!!!!

yeah the hasport mounts are alot more solid than the stock mounts. Though the worst of it is at idle mostly. lol when your sitting at a stop the mirrors are useless they just vibrate all kinds
hahaha man i have place racing! talk about old school. i was thinking of swapping over to hasport or innovative. is it even worth it?
I think most all EF swap mounts rattle, it just seems to be normal. I would think for people who don't like it, turning up the idle may be a simple solution
Because of the traction bar or the red 60a inserts? tell me more!
