Default All you honda-techs help me out here.

I have a 91 hatch The blower motor recently went bad so i firgured with what i read online it would be very simple. For some reason It kept getting stuck on and it wouldnt slide out. So i took the clips off of the houseing and pryed the houseing apart and slid my hand in and took the nut off the bird cage. Thats what freed the motor up, I then took the motor out then took the cage out. It was 8x harder than what i should have been. I am now having a problem putting it back in.If you have done this before you know the bird cage has a odd shapped hole on top of it i can put the bird cage into the houseing but im haveing the problem of getting the new motor to slide back into the cage.

Now for my question, If you have done this before and ran into a simalar problem and found a solution let me know. Anything can help becouse i havnt had heat for the period of time ive had this car and its to the point where the last couple months have been only 20-30 degrees and i havnt had heat. Please Help SOON!

i've done it on different cars. are you trying to put it back while it's still on the car?? i think you need to pull the whole assembly out, put the cage on the motor, then put that back together and into the car.
your post is confusing, but it should be a straightforward part swap.
