Default NGK Plugs: BKR7E-11 vs BCPR7ES

I've been running the BKR7E-11 plugs in my stock b18cr, but I have a bunch of BCPR7ES plugs laying around from a turbo project a few years back. Got curious about the differences so I pulled up the NGK plug chart...

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinf...tnumberkey.pdf

I'm not really understanding the information in the plug chart. "CPR" vs "K" looks somewhat similar, although the language is a bit different. "E" indicates the insulator is 1.5mm, and "ES" has a 2.5mm center electrode. Seems not to be an apples to apples description so I'm not sure what to make of it.

Bottom line... are these plugs ok to run in my motor, or will performance suffer, detonation occur, etc??

Thanks!!!

Keep the BKR7's. I tried both plugs in my B20VTEC and the 7 series worked WAY better

They are all of same NGK / Denso based plug. one is pre-gapped, the other is not.

Here's an AWESOME chart I keep around whenever I get a bit confused for comparison. I also typically go by the stock # when I reference, as it is easier for my napa dealer to just order. I know they never keep these on the shelfs at most parts stores, so be ready.

My original post has a link to the chart... I should have pasted it in though. Thanks. The trouble I'm having is deciphering some of the information provided on the plug chart.

Primarily:

What are the real differences between "CPR" (hex sz 5/8, projected insulator type, resistor type) and "K" (hex sz 5/8, projected tip, ISO)?

Also, how does "E" (v-groove center electrode, 14mm only, 1.5mm resistor) compare to "ES" (standard 3/4" thread reach, 2.5mm center electrode)

Given that these 2 portions of the plug codes seem to be interchangeable, I find it strange that the descriptions are so different.
