im doing a dpfi to mpfi swap here real soon and im wondering if adding the si cam will help my valves suck in more fuel and air. is it really worth the extra time to put it in or just wait to get a true performance cam. im shootin for more compression through one of these methods!

 

I think it will help get a little more power but not much. I would just grind your cam or get an aftermarket one.

 

Yes it will give you more power over a B1/B2.
Up to you if you want to swap the cam or not.

 

great thanks, i might as well it will only take a few extra mins to throw it in...... will i need to do a valve lash adjustment or not?!

 

valve lash specs are the same for both cams but it doesnt hurt to check and adjust anyways.

can anyone tell me the difference between the two cams...? i assume that the lobes may be slightly bigger which is why i wanted to put them in....

Heard other talks about this on this forum & they say that its the same as the b2 cam, so to just leave it alone.

 

The A6 cam is different than the B2 cam.
