Icon3 1999 accord won't go into gear & clutch pedal won't pop back up while running

So my girlfriend has a 1999 Accord with the 2.3 litre SOHC vtec motor, over some time she mentioned that she felt the clutch being sticky but never experienced any problems from it until last week after parking it, it would not go into gear and the clutch would not pop back up?(i'm not sure if this is to compress or to decompress) but only while the motor was running. when the motor is off, the clutch seems to be fine but feels soft, and it goes into every gear smoothly, so i looked into it and ended up bleeding and filling the fluid in the clutch system. this didn't help anything. i tried falling all the lines and didn't find any noticable leaks, and the orignal fluid level was not low at all. so only other than that i've read that it could be the slave cylinder, or a shattered spring on the clutch. I am pretty familiar with hondas and planned on taking it apart to find the problem this weekend, my question to anyone that wants to help is, is there anything else i should check before resorting to take off the transmission? or any ideas or possiblities would be gladly excepted. thanks

The issue sounds related to the clutch slave or master cylinder.

How old is the clutch?

You have air in your clutch system. Rebleed the clutch, this time making sure you do not allow thn the reseroir to go empty or even close.

Remember to crack the bleeder before the person in the car pushes th clutch down. Then they press the clutch down u tighten, they lift their foot and pull the pedal back up. Then repeat steps while checking fluid.

Could still be an issue I suggested I suppose, but it definitely sounds like it's still not bled properly.

Well it is related to the slave cylinder. You weren't wrong at all.
