Did you change it from 3 wire to 2 wire yet and change the wires at the ECU?

Yes I changed 3 to 2 wire and changed the wires on ecu. I read it on the forums here. Right now I'm using the y7 (p2e) ecu with the skunk2 mani and that seems to run better than the jumper harness (obd2a-obd1) and po6 ecu, like the post says to use. But with y7 ecu, at a certain rpm it sounds like I have 2 step in neutral until I give it more gas. It also jerks alot at that rpm while driving until it goes over that rpm. I have dx model, so no tach. But I'd like for it to run with no problems. Before I switched to skunk2 mani, the car ran awesome with stock setup. So I don't think it's bad wires and there is no vacuum leaks.

Any check engine lights? Also the Y7 injectors are 180cc vs the 240cc that the P06 is looking for so you may want to pick up a set of 96-00 EX injectors.

is the IAC and all the lines installed correctly? There has to be some kind of check engine light, cause the manifold wont make it do that. there has to be some kind of step over looked.

Well my bro did the swap and im pretty sure he checked twice he works at a shop. But i tried the 240cc injectors and the response is sooo much better yet it still does the 2step with the y7 ecu. Trued the jumper harness with po6 and p75 ecu and they both ran like crap. Someone suggested a p2p ecu. Any thoughts?

being that all u upgraded was the intake manifold and have basic bolt ons.i would just run the p2e ecu and u should be fine. to run alil extra fuel would be to run 240cc injectors from a ex/ or b series injectors. you dont need a chipped ecu unless your turbo or u have modded the engine extremely like raising compression or port n polish head.
