Basically, when I step on the brakes and signal left, the green (left) arrow become dimly lit and the signal doesn't work. WHen I release the brakes, the signaling works like normal. This occurs only when I signal left.

Help??

 

That's sounds like its going to be caused by unwanted high resistance. Check for loose or corroded ground wires, or connectors.

Is the problem intermittent?

 

x2 loose ground wires, or other burned out bulbs. check and recheck.

 

Imma knock on some wood, but its not happening anymore. Wierd.
