Icon2 Water Damage- how to dry out, or get out the water.

A while back my car got flooded with about an inch of water, and while the smell has almost completely gone, that's not the problem.

When it rains, the water in the car condenses on the windshield and makes it almost impossible to see since once it's wiped off it comes straight back. This is really starting to be a problem now that the weather is freezing the water inside the car on the windshield.

I've tried towels but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Replace the carpet and the jute underlayment.

How long ago is "a while back"? What caused the car to flood?

I would have thought that any left over water would have dried up if it's been any significant amount of time which makes me wonder if you might not have a leak somewhere that is letting water into the car.

God knows what corrosion has occurred with the wiring.

Ripping out the carpet at a MINIMUM along with all the trunk carpeting and let the vehicle air out in sunlight/heaters/fans/whatever for a week

sounds like you have a leak to me too. you should not have that much water condensing on the windshield. also sounds like your AC/defogger is not working.
