It's common when sporty cars are 20 years old to see less each year.

 

yeaa and when you do find them there either beat to hell or riced out

 

Thanks to all the 16 year old "Ryan"s that wrecked them.

 

actually ive never wrecked a car or ever had a crx

 

I found one at a dealer near me, they claim zero rust. Ill be finding out soon

 

Yep mine was on the road till I parked in the back yard last month when it blew a head gasket.

 

It's kinda wierd because when I lived in Austin, I didn't see that many. I see a lot more here in Colorado, but I think it is because people keep them for beaters. Sadly, most people view these cars are disposable when they are used up, they get rid of them.

 

I kind of plan on keeping mine for as long as I can. I paid $300 for it and it gets 31-32mpg all the time.

 

I see them everywhere out here. Lots of daily drivers and a few riced out ones. My goal is to have mine up and running in February

Yeah I got tired of dumping $250 a month keeping mine on the road. My rust free one from Miami to Ga to SC is not road worthy anymore unless you want to put about $1000 into it.

 

if crxs are rareish and only 20 years old how many s30 z cars where sold? i still see a ton of em on the craigslist at least. i mean a crx wasnt exactly a Dud for sales.

 

I see them around here in California but its rare to see a stock one thats in good condition. tho out here is easy to find one thats mostly rust free and just needs some basic repairs or a motor or trans.

 

plenty here in so.cal. plus the two in my garage

 

Maybe:

1) Noone wants to get rid of their CRX
2) People took better care of their Z car, so there's more of them around.

 

i adgree they are getting harder to find in good condtion, i'm part to blame i have parted 3 out and i wish i did not now

 

They don't exactly make good daily drivers in this day and age. They are kinda death traps if you think about it.

And, every person that went through a ricer phase modded them to the point of no return.

Oh, then there is the little rust problem that they had...

 

lots here in germany, mainly due to americans ridding them when they bring them over and fail inspections
