coming from owning a few vw's (i now own a 95 coupe with an ls swap) i find the seats the most lacking part of my civic. i swapped the stock civic seats out for integra cloth seats, but i still find them pretty uncomfortable.

i had a mk3 glx vr6 with heated leather seats (so nice) and a mk2 vr swapped gti with stock gli recaro front seats. both were extremely comfy.

i really want to put heated leather mk3 seats (from a gti) in my eg. a friend has a pair for sale. just wondering if anyone has done this yet? did a search and came up with nothing.

would i be better off just finding some rsx seats? ive never sat in a stock rsx, but i would assume they would be nicer than integra seats.

i realize that i could just cut the sliders off and have eg/dc sliders welded on, but i want to see if anyone has done this in the past before i go 100% fab

it would possibly work but you would have to take both sets apart and swap the pans. since they are from diff auto manufacturers their will most likely be some fab involved with a welder. i can say since i swapped gti leathers into my mk3 4 door that the seats mount totally differant between the 2.
i loved my gti leathers...great seats all around.
del sol seats wrap you better but still are not comfortable. s2000 seats r rsx seats are your best bet. ive also seen people use seats from newer celicas.
anything is possible i guess...

with some time welding/fabbing you could probably do it. can't say i know of anyone that has done it.

i would say rsx or s2k seats would be easier.
del sols are comfy and wrap around you nicely but finding still comfy ones would be tough and leather doesn't exist as far as i know.

 

Just buy some del Sol seats and call it a day.
