Default ITB question

so i have a set of TWM 50 mm ITBs, would it be good to maybe like port and polish the ITBs or maybe bore them a bit?

How about you tradem those for a induction setup you can use.. i'm pretty sure you dont have the motor for those things

Youre right. We dont know what you have. So how could we possibly know if your setup would benefit from enlarging them?

Well, if you change your mind, lemme know.. Now, whats your setup.

if its TWM's whats the color of the fuel rail and what head are they for.
Secondly, you either have 48mm or 52mm and twm is no longer, they are call borla induction.. with that said..

whats your supporting setup for the itbs

sorry but if you spent the time to build said motor, you should already know if a pandp would help. so bore the **** out of em. since you have said motor to back it.

haha damn it was just a question. heres my setupp then if you must know.

B16 head, supertech valve train, TODA spec b camshafts, b16 bottom, 12.5:1 comp CP pistons, eagle rods, eagle crank.

haha hers the proof bro. hers my ITBs

and who cares if im a trial user, doesnt mean im stupid lol, just means i barely made an account. damn the world is filled with such haters.

No haters, you shouldn't come into a new forum with an attitude if you want help - especially when those taking the time to help you are some of the more knowledgeble contributors.

52mm itbs is what you have, with the oem styling fuel injector rail.. thx god u dont have to buy the bosch style injector.

Port matching is about all you really need to do to those itbs. It should do fine on your motor, but i dont think you'll make anymore power then you would with a ported manifold.

As mentioned, match the gasket, any more and you'll hurt performance.
as it is i personally think 52mm is too big unless this is a race only engine, as the bottom end and mid range are going to be rather weak. The only way you'll be taking advantage of that much breathing room is by turning a lot of rpm
